What is Hospital Indemnity Insurance?

Supplemental coverage that helps offset costs associated with hospital stays, whether for planned or unplanned reasons. Payments made directly to you and benefits do not offset with medical insurance.

 

Plan Rules:

  • Eligibility: Eligible full-time employees as designated by the board and their eligible dependents

  • Coverage through Mutual of Omaha

  • Routine childbirth and complications from pregnancy are covered

  • No Health Questions Every Year!

  • Claims must be filed with the carrier for reimbursement.

  • The chart below is a sample of covered services. After7.1.2026, please see the Plan Certificate for a detailed listing of services in their entirety.
